Walnut English barley twist poster bed. Shown here in king size with posts turned from 6″ walnut blocks and a paneled headboard, with a magnificent architectural canopy. Truly a bed fit for a King! Henry VIII had six wives and he could have put them all in this magnificent bed. Constructed from walnut with 6″ barley twist turned posts and paneled headboard, Harry (as his friends called him) would have been quite comfortable in this bed. Shown here sanding 108″ tall to the top of the canopy, this bed, as all Sheffield pieces, can be customized for your room dimension. Post height to the base of the canopy is 100″.
